Job role:

The Key Account Manager, Italy will play a critical role in driving Beta Systems’ growth strategy in the Italian market.

This position is responsible for existing and new business acquisition, account management, and revenue growth within enterprise client segments. The successful candidate will demonstrate a consultative sales approach, a proven record of success in enterprise software sales, and the ability to cultivate relationships with key decision makers at all organizational levels.

The role requires a motivated self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, trust-based environment and can work collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, target, and engage new enterprise clients across the assigned territory
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional growth and revenue objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders
  • Conduct clients need assessments and lead solution-oriented presentations and demonstrations
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and technical) to design customized client solutions
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
  • Prepare detailed proposals, RFP responses, and contractual documents in collaboration with legal and technical teams
  • Track, forecast, and report sales metrics through CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Represent Beta Systems at industry events, trade shows, and conferences

Qualifications:

1. Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software sales, ideally within mainframe or infrastructure solutions
  • Experience with IBM mainframe eco-systems (z/OS) can be an advantage
  • Proven track record of closing high-value enterprise deals
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, digital transformation, and automation technologies
  • Ability to work both independently and through partner networks

  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value propositions
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and organization
  • Results-driven, disciplined, and self-motivated with a collaborative team mindset

  • Native Italian language and fluent English speaker essential
